On 14 October 2025, a training session was held for the teachers of the Makhinjauri Maritime School, conducted by education expert Nino Fetviashvili.

The training aimed to analyze the purposes, types, and principles of assessment, particularly in the context of improving student outcomes. Participants discussed the characteristics of effective feedback.

A key component of the training involved working with rubrics for evaluating summative and creative-type assignments. Teachers worked in groups to review practical examples, analyze assignment samples, and provide recommendations.

This practical approach is intended to strengthen teachers’ skills in the assessment process, thereby contributing to the enhancement of both quality and student engagement.
