Cultural Activity at Makhinjauri Maritime School
On October 24, 2026, students and vocational education students of Makhinjauri Maritime School visited the Batumi Ilia Chavchavadze State Drama Theatre and attended a performance of Darispan’s Trouble, based on the work of Davit Kldiashvili, one of the prominent figures in Georgian classical drama.
The event aimed to deepen young people’s interest in the national cultural heritage and theatrical arts.

School Conference on Environmental Issues
On October 23, 2026, a school conference was held at Makhinjauri Maritime School to raise students’ environmental awareness and promote environmental responsibility. The conference was organized by geography teacher Sopio Nemსadze.
Students delivered engaging and relevant presentations on the following topics:
- Biodiversity and Ecosystem Protection
- Digital Environmental Awareness and Civic Activism
Educational Visit to Mark Svetitskhovloba
On 14 October 2026, an educational visit was organised to the Holy Trinity Church in Batumi and the Convent located on Trinity Mountain in the village of Sameba, on the occasion of the Svetitskhovloba religious holiday. The visit was initiated by vocationa students enrolled in the integrated vocational education programme at Makhinjauri Maritime School and organized by the Departments of Georgian Language, Foreign Languages and Social Sciences.

Public Lecture Held: 1,700 Years Since Christianity Became the State Religion
On October 8, 2026, Makhinjauri Maritime School hosted a public lecture dedicated to the topic “1,700 Years Since Christianity Became the State Religion.”
The lecture was delivered by Otar Gogolishvili, Head of the Khariton Akhvlediani Museum, and Makvala Gogua, Researcher in the Museum’s History Department.
