On 21 November 2025, the Makhinjauri Maritime School held an event dedicated to Saint George’s Day. The students learned about the life of Saint George and were introduced to the remarkable examples of the courage and unwavering faith of the One Hundred Thousand Martyrs.

The event featured thematic presentations and historical materials aimed at enhancing the understanding of the holiday’s significance and Georgia’s spiritual heritage.

The purpose of the event was to familiarize students with traditions, highlight national and Christian values, and deepen young people’s interest in history.
