On February 11, 2026, a seminar dedicated to Global Air Quality Day was held at Makhinjauri Maritime School on the topic: “Climate Change and Sustainable Development.”
As part of the event, participants analyzed the cause-and-effect relationships of climate change, the importance of the Sustainable Development Goals, and prospective strategies for addressing the issue.
The event was organized by the Department of Social Sciences under the supervision of the responsible teacher, Sopio Nemsadze, with the participation of 11th and 12th grade students.
