From 23 to 27 March 2026, the Maritime School of Makhinjauri held a thematic week entitled “Water Is Life,” dedicated to the International Day for the Protection of Water Resources.
Within the framework of the week, a range of educational and cognitive activities were conducted for students, including a presentation-based lesson on the topic “Water as the Source of Life,” a quiz entitled “The Mystery of Water,” and a presentation addressing the rational use of water and the improvement of its quality.
The objective of the event was to deepen students’ knowledge of environmental issues, foster the development of environmental protection skills, and raise awareness. Particular emphasis was also placed on enhancing students’ creativity and observational abilities.
