On April 30, 2026, as part of the Earth Day commemorative week, another eco-friendly activity was held at Makhinjauri Maritime School.

Students of the 11A and 11B classes participated in a tree-planting activity during their Biology lesson. As part of the initiative, 15 fir trees were planted in the green areas surrounding Makhinjauri Maritime School.

The students once again recognized the importance of caring for the environment and made a practical contribution to improving the local green space.

The event has become an annual tradition and plays an important role in both raising environmental awareness among students and contributing to the greening of the city.
