Duke University Press Journals ONLINE- This database includes 44 journals across humanities, social sciences. Among them 19 journals are in Scupus citation base, 18 journals have citation index of art and liberal sciences, and 9 journals are indexed in the citation of social sciences.

Edward Elgar Publishing Journals and Development Studies e-books- Includes 7 journals in law and management. There are also 280 e-textbooks in law, economics and management as well.

The IMechE Journals- Data base, which includes 18 journals in the field of engineering mechanics, published by SAGE. There is complete data from articles in the field of engineering mechanics since 1847 to date.

The New England Journal of Medicine- It is database of main weekly medical journal of various medical subjects.

Royal Society Publishing- Includes 9 journals in the field of physics, biology and research disciplines, as well as huge archive materials since 1665, and 70% of authors are of different nationalities.

Cambridge Journals Online- Database of Cambridge University includes only bases of local e-Books and journals, shows citation index, and texts are represented in the form of abstracts.

msp.org - Mathematical science journals database, which covers all areas of mathematics.More than 17,000 scientific articles are added annually and available for free access.

openedition. org - electronic database in the field of humanities and social sciences.Here you will find both e-books and scientific journals and catalogs of events that are updated systematically and give us information on various cultural and educational events.

For the students and academic staff of the Batumi Navigation Teaching University "eIFL" ("Electronic Information for Librarians") offers the possibility of publishing publications in open source electronic resources.

Consultation of Interested Parties

Upon request, the School provides interested parties with information on:

a) opportunities for obtaining vocational education;
b) prerequisites for admission to specific educational programs and selection criteria;
c) registration procedures for educational programs and, where necessary, assistance with registration;
d) educational services and program-specific features, including the awarded qualification, opportunities for further education and employment, duration and intensity of studies, program content, mode of delivery, funding opportunities, and other relevant information.

Consultation of interested parties is conducted throughout the year.

Stages of Admission to Educational Programs

a) completion of an application questionnaire by the institution;
b) registration of applicants;
c) selection process;
d) preparation of the ranked list of applicants;
e) announcement of results and granting of vocational student status;
f) filling of remaining vacant places (if applicable).

Applicant Registration

  1. For the purpose of registration, an individual must complete authorization in the registration system at and register as an applicant.

  2. Applicant registration is carried out within the timeframe established by an individual administrative legal act of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia.

  3. During registration, an applicant is entitled to select no more than three preferred programs.

  4. The applicant bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the information entered into the registration system. Submission of incorrect data may result in refusal of admission or serve as grounds for invalidation of the individual administrative legal act issued by the School regarding the student’s enrollment.

  5. The selection period and the commencement date of studies are determined by an individual administrative legal act of the Minister.

Form of Applicant Selection

  1. Applicant selection involves assessment of candidates for the purpose of enrollment in the program.

  2. The selection process is conducted in the Georgian language; in the case of foreign-language programs, selection may also be conducted in the respective program language.

  3. Assessment is carried out at the School. If necessary, it may be conducted remotely using modern communication technologies.

  4. Applicant assessment is based on testing and/or interviews organized by the School.

  5. The form of selection for each admission cycle and/or program is determined by an individual administrative legal act of the School Director.

Documents Required for Student Enrollment

(For Minors – to be Submitted by a Parent/Legal Representative)

To enroll a student in educational programs at LLC “Makhinjauri Maritime School,” the following documents must be submitted to the Admissions Committee:

  • Application addressed to the School Director (completed on-site);

  • Copy of the birth certificate;

  • Certificate from the school where the student is currently enrolled;

  • Medical certificate (Form No. 100)
    (Address: Z. Gorgiladze Street No. 91, Seafarers’ Medical Center “Sagittarius”);

  • Three copies of the student’s identity document;

  • Copies of parents’ identity documents;

  • Copies of refugee status certificates or socially vulnerable status certificates of the parent(s) and student (if applicable);

  • Four photographs (¾ format) with an electronic version;

Documents are accepted from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding weekends.

Documents Required After Enrollment

(For Vocational Students)

After enrollment in vocational education programs at LLC “Makhinjauri Maritime School,” vocational students must submit the following documents to the Admissions Committee:

  • Application addressed to the School Director (completed on-site);

  • Document certifying education – notarized copy;

  • Copy of the birth certificate;

  • Medical certificate (Form No. 100)
    (Address: Z. Gorgiladze Street No. 91, Seafarers’ Medical Center “Sagittarius”);

  • Three copies of an identity document;

  • Four photographs (¾ format) with an electronic version;

  • Military registration document (if applicable).

Authorization of LLC “Makhinjauri Lyceum”

By Decision of the Educational Institutions Authorization Council, Protocol No. 55 dated 05 May 2011, LLC “Makhinjauri Lyceum” was granted authorization to implement general education programs.
By Decision of the Educational Institutions Authorization Council, Protocol No. 3 dated 27 April 2016, LLC “Makhinjauri Lyceum” was granted authorization to implement vocational education programs for the following qualifications: Able Seafarer (Deck), Able Seafarer (Engine Department), and Ship Electrician (Level III).

On the Addition of Modular Vocational Education Programs for LLC “Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum”

By Decision No. 121 of the Vocational Educational Institutions Authorization Council dated 14 June 2019, LLC “Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum” was granted the right to implement the following modular vocational education programs: Able Seafarer (Deck), Able Seafarer (Engine Department), and Level III Vocational Education Program in Electrical Engineering.

Authorization of LLC “Makhinjauri Maritime Lyceum”

By Decision of the Educational Institutions Authorization Council, Protocol No. 329568 dated 30 March 2022, LLC “Makhinjauri Lyceum” was granted authorization to implement general education programs for a period of six years.
