An Event Dedicated to International Mountain Day at the Makhinjauri Maritime School
On 11 December 2025, a series of events dedicated to International Mountain Day were held at the Makhinjauri Maritime School. Within the framework of the event, students were actively engaged in group work. They prepared thematic presentations and presented creative slogans related to mountains, produced artistic landscapes and posters, and delivered presentations on high-mountain regions of Georgia and around the world.

Public Lecture at the Makhinjauri Maritime School
On 9 December 2025, a public lecture was held for pupils and vocational students of the Makhinjauri Maritime School entitled
“Effective Approaches to Ship Hull Corrosion Monitoring — Paving the Way for Future Vessels.”
The lecture was delivered by Professor Špiro Ivošević of the Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Montenegro.

The lecture was delivered by Senka Ivošević, Professor at the Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Montenegro.

Debates at the Makhinjauri Maritime School
On 4 December 2025, a debate was held at the Makhinjauri Maritime School on the topic: “Globalization — More Opportunities or a Threat?”
The students discussed issues of particular relevance to the modern world, including the positive and negative aspects of globalization, its cultural impacts, economic changes, and environmental challenges.
