On February 9, 2026, a public lecture dedicated to the celebration of Davidoba was held at the Makhinjauri Maritime School.
The lecture discussed the historical, political, and cultural significance of King David IV the Builder of Georgia, the state reforms he carried out, as well as his military and spiritual vision, which became the foundation for national unity and the country’s advancement.

A public lecture dedicated to the Feast of Saint Nino
On January 27, 2025, in connection with the Feast of Saint Nino, a public lecture was held at the Makhinjauri Maritime School. The lecture was dedicated to the role of Saint Nino in the Christianization of Georgia and to her historical and spiritual significance. Within the framework of the lecture, Saint Nino’s missionary activity, the establishment of the Christian worldview in Georgia, and the place of the Feast of Saint Nino in national and cultural memory were discussed.

Awarding of the Active Reader of the Year
On 26 December 2025, the Library of the Makhinjauri Maritime School held its annual summary event entitled “Awarding of the Active Reader of the Year.”
Within the framework of the event, pupils and vocational students who demonstrated a high level of interest throughout the year and made active use of the library’s resources were identified. The Active Readers of the Year were presented with books as gifts.

A Class Hour on the Development of Civic Values for 11th-Grade Students
On 18 December 2025, a class hour was conducted for 11th-grade students of the Makhinjauri Maritime School on the topic “The Development of Civic Values.” The session was characterized by active student participation and discussion.

On 11 December 2025, in Brussels, at the premises of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), the Annual Policy Forum organized by the European Vocational Training Association (EVTA) was held under the theme:
“Building Sustainable Vocational Education and Training Ecosystems for the Future: Priorities of the New EU Vocational Education Strategy.”
