On 7 March, 2026 students of the Maritime School of Makhinjauri visited the Ethnographic Museum of Kemal Turmanidze.

Event Dedicated to the Day of Soviet Occupation
On February 25,2026, an event dedicated to the Day of Soviet Occupation was held — a date that had a decisive impact on the state development of Georgia. On February 25, 1921, the occupation of Tbilisi by the Red Army brought an end to the existence of the Democratic Republic of Georgia.
The aim of the event was to strengthen historical memory, promote an understanding of the values of freedom and independence, and honor the memory of those who fought for the country’s liberty.
